* Please note that turnaround times are an estimate, as I do all my own editing (for confidentiality purposes). If you require significant changes (e.g. large tattoo removal), turnaround times will be on the longer end. If you are on a time crunch, please plan accordingly and book with enough time for your desired release date.
FAQ
When will I get my photos?
Your proofs will be in your inbox within 3-5 days of your shoot. Once you pick your favourites, I'll have them beautifully retouched and in your hands within 3-8 weeks. Please allow for more time for bigger packages, additional images, or large tattoo removal.
Please note that turnaround times are estimates, but I will do my best to get your images to you as fast as possible. Images will be sent through as I finish them, so you won't be left hanging!
What's your retouching process?
"Get it right on set" has always been my mantra, so I'll always work to make sure everything looks great before we take the photo. I always have double sided tape, pins, and clamps with me to make sure you are looking your best on the day.
My retouching aims to enhance your natural beauty rather than manipulate and change the image entirely. I cannot change an entire backgrounds, swap out clothing items, and add extra elements into a photograph.
When choosing your images, please include any relevant notes alongside your selections. Retouching includes one revision. Additional revisions are billed @ $10/image.
How many people are on your team?
I briefly had a booking assistant between April - October 2022, it's now a one woman show once again! From your initial inquiry to the delivery of your photos, I handle it all.
(Trust me on this one. I'd have a much shorter turnaround time otherwise ;) )
What is your deposit and cancellation policy?
A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking. Your deposit will serve as the cancellation fee should you cancel within 24 hours of our shoot.
In the event that you need to reschedule, your deposit may be forwarded to a new date within 6 months of your initial date.
Should I need to cancel our shoot, your deposit will be refunded.
Why are edits not included in the basic package?
Due to the changing needs of social media and demand for a steady flow of content, it makes more sense to include your gallery so you can post your photos as soon as you want.
With edit packages being separate from your shoot, you can fully customize your experience. It takes the pressure off of having to choose a set amount of images and you can have your images asap!
How will you use my photos?
Photos will be used in my portfolio and promotional material only. I will not post anything until after you have posted them on your website and social media.
Are studios included?
Outside of the editorial package, studios are not included as it’s such an important part of the overall feel of your images and brand. I'm happy to send you recommendations for studios!
How long do you keep RAWs for after our shoot?
Raws are kept for about 12 months, so you have the option to purchase more edits down the line. After 12 months, only your final selections are saved.
Where will you travel?
I am able to travel within the highlighted area on the adjacent map. Please add $50/hour of travel for locations outside of downtown Toronto.
I am able to travel across Canada and select international destination.
